Mayor Beaty is a dynamic leader with a deep commitment to public service, equity and community building. Elected as the first female mayor of Beaverton in 2020, she has since made significant strides in improving housing affordability, enhancing veterans’ services, and creating a more bikeable and walkable city.

A U.S. Army veteran who served in the Iraq War, Mayor Beaty has used her platform to advocate strongly for veteran causes at both the state and national levels. Her leadership was crucial in the passage of Oregon’s HB 2295, which prioritizes veteran-owned businesses in state contracting, and her advocacy led to impactful changes in HUD rules regarding housing vouchers for veterans.

Dean Baquet is a journalist and editor who made his mark on journalism at a local level in New Orleans before rising to prominence at the Chicago Tribune and later The New York Times. His significant contributions to investigative journalism have been recognized with several prestigious awards, most notably the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Journalism. Baquet continues to influence the field of journalism, leading a fellowship program at The New York Times dedicated to training young journalists in local investigative journalism.

Molly Rawn is the Mayor of Fayetteville, Arkansas, the second largest city in the state. Since taking office in January of 2025, she has prioritized aligning city operations with community needs, empowering staff expertise, and improving how residents engage with local government.

Mayor Rawn continues to emphasize the importance of intentional growth and the essential role of infrastructure. She is committed to a hands-on, people-centered approach to making Fayetteville more accessible to everyone.
